A small corner of the internet

A life,
in the making.

I’m Ian. An educator, a writer, a sometimes poet. A cook, a fixer of things, and a person with more interests than this introduction has room for.

This is a place to follow those interests.
Pull up a chair. There’s a little of everything here.

01 / The notebook

A little of what I do.

A few shelves for the things I’m interested in. The stories will find their way here.

Learning / Teaching

There’s always
another question.

A place for things I teach, things I’m learning, and the questions that stay with me.

Room for the first note.
Poems / Spoken word / Writing

Some things
become words.

Poems, spoken pieces, and writing that needs a place beyond the page it started on.

Waiting for the first piece.
Cooking / Everyday things

Meanwhile,
in the kitchen.

Space for what’s cooking. The experiments, the meals, and whatever I learn along the way.

Something will be on the stove.
Hardware / Taking things apart

Let’s see
what’s inside.

A corner for repairs, hardware, and the curiosity that comes with taking something apart.

A workbench with space to grow.
02 / The person behind the name

Ian Adams Kelly.
Still becoming.

I’m an educator and a writer. I write poems and spoken word. I cook. I repair hardware. There are other things, too, and I’d like this space to have room for them.

Some days an idea takes the shape of a lesson. Other days, a few lines of writing, a meal, or something working again. This is where those parts of my life can sit together.

I’m also the person behind Kuza Kizazi ↗. That’s where my professional work lives. Here, there’s more of the person.

Leaving a little room for what comes next.

This home is taking shape. More words, experiments, and ordinary interesting things to come.
